Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the answers to some questions you may have about Meteor Games...
Who are you guys?
Meteor Games is an innovative game development studio committed to creating interactive experiences that bridge the gaps between the engaging nature and broad appeal of web-based gaming, the community-focused elements of today's exploding social networks, and the fun and depth of traditional massively multiplayer online games.
Impressive. Have you worked on anything before?
The founders of Meteor Games were the founders and creative directors of Neopets, way back in 1999. Neopets was, and still is one of the largest children's entertainment sites on the Internet with over 45 million users worldwide and hundreds of billions of pageviews.

Making up our team are some of the best and brightest developers from the most successful gaming and media companies, including EA, Disney, Sony Online Entertainment, NC Soft and 2K Games.

Why did you choose the name Meteor?
Because we're coming out of nowhere and we're going to make a big impression!
Where are you located?
On a quiet street in West Hollywood, California
What's your new game all about?
Meteors.
Seriously, what's it about?
It's an MMO / Virtual World / Casual Game set in the world of Twin Skies, two planets locked together in a close orbit. Each planet has its own unique set of problems, including some uninvited guests who are causing all kinds of trouble for the other inhabitants to deal with. So far, we've announced two playable races: Humans and Canopy Elves.
Can you unfreeze my account?
What do you mean? It can't have been frozen already, we haven't even launched the game yet!
Whats your game called?
Twin Skies
When can I play this game?
We're busy developing right now and hope to start our in-house testing towards the end of the year. People attending the 2008 Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) convention will have a chance to try out a demo of Twin Skies and sign up for our Beta test. For people unable to attend PAX, we will be announcing alternate ways to participate in the Beta test. We really aren't sure when it's officially going to be ready to play, but we're hoping that it will be in 2009.
I'd like to talk to you/shake your hand/gaze deeply into your eyes. Is that possible?
We will be at PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) this year, feel free to stop by our booth and demo our game/try to bag one of our super awesomely cute limited edition soft toys.
I'm a highly skilled BLANK and would like to work for your totally awesome company.
