Lead/Senior Developer
We are seeking a Lead MMO Developer to head our software team. Meteor Games is working on a large-scale cutting edge MMO and we are looking for somebody with previous MMO experience to lead a team of both server and client side developers. More!


The Lead Developer will maintain the highest quality of programming for the MMO, and also have the skills and experience to lead others. The Lead Developer will be responsible for reporting to the Producer and Lead Designer, keeping them informed of technical progress as well as the performance of the rest of the team.

The Lead Developer must also be prepared to take on any of the programming tasks required for the MMO if the other developers are not able to do so.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience working for a MMO development company
  • High level of programming skills - must be extremely familiar with Python, C++, UNIX, and GUI tools such as Lua
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work well under deadlines
  • Able to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Solid math and organizational skills
  • Ability to work creatively in a demanding technical environment

Flash Artist
We are looking for one additional artist to join our exciting Flash games department. You will be working with our development team, creating a wide variety of assets to be used within games, advertisements and mini-movies.
